Happy Matariki

It's Matariki, the Maori New Year, so make the The Seven Sisters (Pleiades star cluster) with me on Good Morning, this Tuesday, 14th June. I'll show you how to make the beaded stars, serviette rings and a stunning centrepiece for your table and Matariki feast!

Thanks FiFi

Seems fitting that I'm working on a shop http://www.popupparramatta.com.au/ in Parramatta during Matariki - the cradle of Australia.

At Rangihu, Marsden's Maori Seminary, New Zealand's first brickmakers were trained. The studio space we're wanting is across the river from Rangihou Reserve.

We're hoping to build our studio across the river from Rangihou Reserve which acknowledes links going back to 1814 - Marsden's Maori Seminary ( Rangihu) was here. It's called New Zealand's first school and trained New Zealand's first brickmakers.

I'm currently working on the PCAI shop http://www.popupparramatta.com.au/ across Church Street from St John's church - in the Connections Arcade.
